With more clinical work being conducted online, two parts of the Division of Clinical Psychology have worked together to produce new guidance for psychologists

Using online video technology will be a new way of working for many clinicians, and this guidance helps them to make the necessary preparations so that video therapy is a positive for both psychologists and the young people using services.

The guidance looks at the different needs of young people of varying ages, from young children through to teenagers, and how to meet their specific developmental requirements.

It was developed by the DCP’s Faculty for Children, Young People and their Families in conjunction with the DCP’s Digital Healthcare Sub-Committee.
